A 501c3 Non-Profit Art Organization
It is the mission of Carrie Leigh's to provide children with free, fun, educational programs to promote and build self-esteem, social skills , and learning through the fine arts. We strive to reach children and all members of our service area who don't have access to art programs and support inclusion of every child and every adult regardless of race, creed, gender, disability or socioeconomic status.
Painting Classes for Children are a fantastic way for children to unleash their creativity and spark imagination. Painting helps to develop fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination. Experimenting with colors and textures lets children explore their imagination and express themselves freely, and nurtures creative thinking.
Our painting parties and classes for adults fund free programs for children. In addition to raising money for children's programs, our classes provide a much-needed escape from daily pressures. Focusing on brushstrokes and color allows you to be present in the moment, lowering stress levels and promoting relaxation similar to meditation.
Our Adult Coloring Classes offer a surprising range of benefits. Similar to meditation, coloring provides a calming focus and allows you to shift your attention away from worries and concentrate on the present moment, reducing stress and promoting feelings of peace. As a bonus, the smell of crayons brings back that carefree feeling of creativity, the joy of self-expression, the simple satisfaction of bringing something to life with color, and a reminder of a time when the world was full of wonder and possibility, captured in the waxy scent of a childhood favorite. All this while raising funds for free children programs!
Your support and contributions will enable us to bring free art programs to kids. Your generous donation will fund painting, acting, theater, film, clay sculpting, drawing, jewelry, music classes and more to children. Thank you for your support.
